Video
Every concern that applies to AI-generated photography is amplified in video. The standards here are stricter, and the risks are greater.
What is permitted
Adding controlled technology effects, data visualizations, and overlays without changing the underlying footage.
Supporting post-production tasks such as stabilization, cleanup, masking, color correction, and reframing.
Creating captions, translations, motion graphics, and localized versions.
Developing storyboards, style frames, and previsualizations.
Producing clearly illustrative or conceptual visuals that do not misrepresent Topcon products or capabilities.
What isn't permitted
Generating complete videos from scratch, including scenes that could be mistaken for authentic Topcon or customer footage.
Creating synthetic product footage or changing how a Topcon product looks, operates, or performs in real-world use.
Generating or materially altering video of any Topcon employee, executive, customer, or other identifiable person.
Replacing a person’s face or cloning their voice, which creates significant consent, privacy, and legal risks worldwide.
Review process: These guidelines are not exhaustive. All AI-assisted video must follow Topcon policies and receive appropriate review before publication.
